During a walk up Killiney hill in 2020, Jess turned to Senita in an inspired moment and exclaimed “we should write a disco banger together!”. Over many months, Jess, Geoff, Senita and Thomas sent beats and lyrics back and forth, wrote, and collaborated over zoom. Eventually coming together face to face a year later and realising they had made an albums worth of pop, alt-rnb and disco beauties. Sister Fenix will release a 3 track EP titled "In Water” embodying the journey of discovery and cleansing they found in the collaborative process over lockdown.

Sister Fenix live debut included high octane performances at Dublin Pride, Wild Roots and All Together Now, with their first 2023 show featuring in the Useless Project’s International Women’s Event March 8th in The Tara Buildings. With a sharp live band including Louis Younge (Toshin, Sky Atlas, Tolu Makay, Gemma Dunleavey) and Ryan McClelland (Sky Atlas, SIIGHTS), expect big performances, gorgeous songs, impeccable beats and exceptional vocals.
