I Hope…

• To continue to earn money from music, community care, art and expression

• To feel loved and appreciated in a community who see my light

• To be celebrated as a multidisciplinary artist, who has worked in multiple fields and has enjoyed mastery in many avenues

• To not be constantly met with confusion and dismissal

• To not be the victim of an industry’s close mindedness and incapacity for risk taking

• To not crumble under the curse of resilience. To be helped as supported by others who see my light.

• To be able to fail, make mistakes and be clumsy without the consequence of complete social exclusion

• To find joy, subversiveness and humour on the stage and to share this joy with others

• To inspire others and to breathe life into all hearts in a time of great chaos and emotional heaviness

• To be bold. To be delusional. (I struggle with this)

• To ask for help. To receive help.

• I wish for someone to take risks for me. For someone in the industry to believe in me and champion me. For me to see it.

• To listen deeply to who has come before me. To lay solid ground for the future version of myself and who ever else comes after me

• To know that “Self Actualisation” is not the top. Self actualisation only provides us with stable grounding to be of service, to act kindly to others and establish true community

• To perpetuate culture and knowledge using our voices, our art and our capacity for connection

• To continue myth and folklore by including our modern magic

• To believe in Magic

• To believe in us

• To love in a way that is exponential and not possessive

• To not hoard money or possessions. To reject scarcity mindset

• To not see others as my competition, only as allies

• To always believe in me

• To know I am enough
